What is TESA?
TESA's mission is to be a witness to and a voice for matters concerning trans-identified Albertans.
Our History
|
TESA formed in the wake of the 2009 de-listing of gender reassignment/sex reassignment surgery (GRS/SRS) in Alberta. With the 2012 GRS/SRS relisting, TESA members continue to work to create a more equitable Alberta that reflects the needs of all citizens.
Since our incorporation, TESA members have engaged in various advocacy opportunities, including writing letters to government, participating in public demonstrations, and engaging in countless educational opportunities throughout Alberta. |
